My name is Marisa Gonzales and I'm a proud Latina from San Antonio, Texas, currently based in New York City.
I want to create art that educates, uplifts and emphasizes strong females with agency.
As an artist, I want to to shed light on important stories that need to be told, because to me, there is nothing more important than being an artist activist. Whether it be the Latina experience or mental health issues or societal and political commentary, I want my art to reflect the things I feel strongly & passionately about.
